CC-by-sa ethify.org & dilemma

Why we wear not only jeans, but also the blood of thousands of people.

Jeans have to be hip, jeans have to be cheap and we cannot get enough of them. But what remains for the factory workers and the environment after buying Jeans for sometimes less than 10 Euros?

Should we help the homeless people?

CC-by-sa ethify.org & dilemma

I chose this topic, because, in my opinion, it is relevant. There are a lot of people who ask for alms in the whole world and this situation is not getting any better, therefore it is important to pay attention to the problems of homeless, get deeper in them and not only discuss how to solve them, but also try to do something in practice.

Claim: Often we can meet homeless people, which are asking for alms in the streets, but is it enough to give them few euros to change their life?

escaping reality is a blast!

Supermarkets, markets and shops are giving away lightweight plastic bags for free. Those bags are mostly designed for just a single use. Because of their weight they can get blown away easily by wind and litter our environment.

If all people worldwide would stop eating meat the nutrition situation of all people could be improved and our environment could be protected.

The consumption of meat is increasing every year. Worldwide a person in average consumed 42.5 kg of meat per year. In Germany the amount of meat eaten with 89.5 kg per person per year is even higher. Thus, a German eats in average 1094 animals in his life. Only 1.6 % of the world population are vegetarians. The global meat production has quadrupled from 1961 to 2009. How does this meat consumption influence the environment and people?

Over 7000 new Teeniemothers are there in Germany every year.

Yesterday teddy bear in their arms, today they are mothers. Also nowadays in our well sexual-explained times teeniepregnancies are not rare. Since five years the booming tendency is stopped, but we can also not speak from a reduction.

A study about this topic from “pro familia” and the Institute of sexual research from the University Hamburg in Germany says, that nowadays more and more of the 15 to 20 years old girls become pregnant - that means currently round 3 percent of all girls less than 20 years in Germany. (Is the girl less than 20 years, we speak from a teeniepregnancy)
