1. Go and read the whole article (especially if the title seems sensational) – make sure it’s not clickbait
2. Check for sources, their credability and potential bias – make sure it’s factual
3. Look for other articles with differing views on the topic – make sure to get the whole story

The internet is the perfect place to get informed, but only if used right.
