In the year 2014, Leonardo DiCaprio was nominated as a United Nations. This title is given by OSN activities. It was the first time that Martin Scorsese (director) and Fisher Stevens (producer) came to the scene. As Leonardo DiCaprio describes:

“We went to every corner of the globe to document the devastating impacts of climate change and questioned humanity's ability to reverse what may be the most catastrophic problem mankind has ever faced.” [1]

The documentary film, Before The Flood, Had premier on 21st of October and went on the National Geographic Channel for free streaming from 30st of October. Copies were sent to some universities and ecclesiastical institutions. For the first day of the day.

Combination of DiCaprio's acting skills and breathing camera composition makes these 95 minutes pleasurable experience, but does not conceal the real point of the film. Material contains information about the situation in many developing countries as well as data from science centers. List of interviewed people contains Barack Obama, Pope Francis, Elon Musk and John Kerry.

DiCaprio touches most of the global problems connected with global warming. Information about melting ice on the poles, burning rainforests and oil industry waste. A lot of space is dedicated to the discussion about carbon tax, including call to action for a website carbotax.org, where one can calculate its own impact on climate pollution. This tool works mainly for US citizens, for the rest of the countries it shows average numbers.

Although this is not the case, it is not the case. Points to the most painful ones and tries to find sober and calm solutions to fix them. Which mankind did to the planet.
